Lize Lewy (spelled by Liza, sounds like Lizzie) is a multifaced theatre artist from New Orleans, currently based in St. Louis. Lize’s extensive background in performance has informed their love for playwrighting, directing, and production. Their work has been produced across the country and featured in many notable events such as: their play “The Super Fun Time Party Palace“ with SATE’s Annual Aphra Behn festival, “The Sky and The Sea” with Climate Change Theatre Action, their touring cabaret “Sing Happy; Benefitting the Statesboro Regional Sexual Assault Center” with the Averitt Center for Performing Arts, and their play “Looking for You Online” in the upcoming Spring 2022 Season at Webster University. Lize is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community and hopes to bring advocacy and representation to the forefront of their work. Lize has been fortunate enough to create work both on and off the stage and hopes to bring their passion for this form and for social advocacy to the world.
