Cecily DowdMusical Theatre

Cecily Dowd (she/her/they) was born in The Great White North (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada) and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Her plans are to move to LA to start but wanting to travel when the world permits her. Some of her credits include St. Louis Rep., Variety Theatre, Human Race Theatre Company, Grandstreet Theatre, and Ozark Actors Theatre (#2 in The Wolves, Ariel flight double in Little Mermaid, ensemble in Mary Poppins, P.B. Coleman in One Slight Hitch, Katherine in Newsies, ensemble in My Fair Lady). Her last Webster production will feature her as Hope Cladwell in Urinetown: The Musical. Film credits include two with Travis Productions and one with Variety in fall of 2020. After graduation, she’ll be in Variety’s The Music Man and paving a way for appreciation and empathy in storytelling for the rest of her career.
