Here’s how to join us on Wednesday, March 10, 2021

Please avoid Internet Explorer and Edge if possible. This platform functions best on a laptop or desktop
browser, and is only supported in Beta on iPad and iPhone.
When you click the link, you will be prompted to set up a profile. This will take only a few minutes.
If you have been working on Zoom, Teams, WebEx, or any other videoconferencing software throughout the day, please make
sure to completely close those programs before you click into Remo.
At the bottom of the screen you will see a camera and microphone icon, both in red:
Please click on these and your camera and mic will activate. When you have activated your camera and microphone you will join all of the folks at your table in conversation.
NOTE: You may be prompted to allow your internet browser have access to your camera and mic, this will be located at the top of your browser.
DURING THE EVENT
Once you are in the event, you will find an icon with the initial of your first name. You can add a profile
picture by clicking on the upper right corner icon. You will be placed on a floor filled with tables where a
member of the faculty or student body will greet you and help get you oriented.

If you are having any technical trouble during the event, please double click on the “Help Lounge” at the left-hand side of the floor.One of our administrators will be there to help you.

If you are having issues moving around or hearing other people, a simple refresh of your
browser page typically cleans issues up.
If you cannot find your way into the event or having trouble getting connected, please email, call, and/or text
the Remo support team for our event:
On occasion throughout the event, you may hear remarks from faculty members. Your screen will show this
presentation and your camera and microphone will automatically turn off. When the presentation ends you will
return to your table and can continue your conversations.
If you have any questions during the event, please click on the chat icon that is located at the bottom
of your screen and ask a question through General Chat. The chat box is also a great way to
get an overview of who else is at the event at the same time as you are. Feel free to connect with people
there as well.
